Man's Best Friend

I am in the belief that dogs are a man's best friend. Dogs offer companionship, protection,and they provide a service for the disabled, hunters and the military among other services. You can browse through the news and there is usually some sort of news about how a dog saved their owner from an intruder or from a house fire. I can remember as a kid having several different dogs such as a hunting dog to a stray German Shepherd dog that I took in for a few days until the owner finally claimed him. The German Shepherd was a very smart and playful dog which may have had a hand in making the German Shepherd breed my favorite.



Now doesn't that look like a loyal companion?
