Who is the 1%?

After being bombarded with non-stop 99% news I decided to do some digging and came up with some interesting facts. During 2010, the top 1 percent of Americans had a minimum income of $516,600. The bottom 60 percent had a maximum income of $59,000. The bottom 40 percent had a maximum income of $33,800. Finally, the bottom 20 percent had a maximum income of $17,000. Those are the numbers when comparing Americans to Americans. Now let's look at the numbers when comparing our income to the world. The top 1 percent of the world has a minimum income of $68,000. The bottom 60 percent had a maximum income of $3,260. The bottom 40 percent had a maximum income of $1,760. Finally, the bottom 20 percent of all earthlings had a maximum income of $965.

Think about it!
